Da Capo Guitar Ensemble students Max Lyman, Rachel
Westerkamp, Nicholas Fadell and Matt Shin performed 'live-on-the-air" at
Dayton Public Radio's recent fundraising campaign. They were true
professionals!
This caps a busy spring for the group, which included performances at
the Dayton Art Institute and the Federation Festival at the University
of Dayton, where they earned a Unanimous Superior rating from the
judges. |
|
Federation
Festival took place March 6 at the University of Dayton.
Our participating students (guitarists, violinists) performed splendidly
for the judges
and for the honors recital - to which a record number of our students
were invited
this year! Congratulations to all students and participating teachers! |
|

McCutcheon Music
was the
official Music Store for the Bands
of America Regional Championship
held last October at Centerville High School! Our repairman, Rich, and his helper,
Judy,
kept the instruments ready to go onto the field!
|
Congratulations to our repair shop!
When Soaring
Sounds was in town this past summer,
the Blue Jackets needed
last-minute major repairs to 5 tubas, and Rich Ervin dropped everything
(not literally!) and got the instruments ready for the performance the
next day! The group returned with another load of instruments the next
day, and again a third time!
Talk about satisfied customers, and a repair staff that met
the challenge! |
